At
First Baptist Church of Rosharon, the training of
children “in the way they should go” is
considered an awesome responsibility. For that reason, our nursery and kid’s
ministries are loaded with opportunities to fill your child with the word of
God, in order that they might “hide His words in their hearts.” Through
nurturing, Christian examples, they are taught the love of Christ and the plan
He has for each of their lives.

Our kid’s ministry includes four year olds through sixth grade. Dedicated and faithful men and women provide a variety of exciting ministry opportunities to our school-age children. They won’t want to miss a single event!

During the WELCOME portion of the morning service, four year olds through second grade are dismissed to Kid’s Worship in the new Children's Building.
Pre-School Choir (3 year olds – Kindergarten) and Kid’s Choir (1st – 6th grade) are held during the Sunday evening service (6:00-7:00).

The AWANA Club is open to children ages 3 through 6th grade. Scripture memory, Bible stories, and games are key components of the program.
Vacation Bible School is held every year for one
week during the summer. The week is jam-packed with music, Bible stories,
crafts, recreation, missions, and snack time and is open to four year olds
through sixth grade. Consider the possibility of volunteering your time and
energy to this fabulous
week!
The Bus Ministry has a van and a bus in its fleet. They are used to pick up children for Sunday School on Sunday morning and return them home after church.
Our Nursery is open to all infants and children three years of age and under. Dedicated and faithful women provide tender loving care for the children of our church members and visitors on Sunday mornings and evenings, as well as Wednesday evenings.
